| Jefa Steering has developed for Hanse Yachts a special rack and pinion system which is easy to integrate in the deck. For ease of installation, the complete steering system is in a chamber above deck. As the rudder top bearing and tiller lever are integrated, the complete steering system including autopilot drive can be setup and installed without the rudder stock fitted to the boat. This unique feature offers a large time gain in the boat construction. The autopilot drive for this boat is also a Jefa product and is a special watertight version.
